Melanie Tillman, M.S., BCBA – Behavior Analyst

Melanie Tillman has a M.S. in Psychology from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She received her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Tennessee, where she was a University Scholar and graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Melanie has been a BCBA for seven years and has over eleven years of experience in working with children with autism for both academic institutions and private practice organizations. She served as the Site Director for The Autism Program of Illinois and was Clinical Instructor at the Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She has provided treatment in home, clinic, and educational settings. In addition to working directly with children, Melanie has supervised graduate students and treatment teams and trained parents and providers. Melanie has completed assessments of children, developed treatment plans, and collected and analyzed data to monitor progress. She has specific expertise in toilet training and has also completed functional behavior assessments and prepared behavior intervention plans. Melanie has been a presenter and lecturer on autism topics.
